    What types of sedation do you offer during dental visits?

    Our team has undergone extra training to offer many types of sedation. We want to ensure our dental procedures are comfortable and safe for all our clients.

    IV Sedation

    Administered through a vein in the arm, IV sedation induces a deeper state of relaxation and may be used for more complex procedures or patients with severe dental anxiety. The dentist is able to adjust the level of sedation throughout the procedure for optimal comfort.

    Oral Sedation

    Prescription medication taken orally before the appointment to induce a state of relaxation and reduce anxiety. Oral sedatives can have a mild to moderate effect and may cause drowsiness, so patients typically require transportation to and from the appointment.

    Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)

    This is a mild sedative given via a mask placed over the nose. It wears off quickly, allowing patients to drive themselves home afterward.
